Accommodation Pricing

From 1 July 2014, the Living Longer Living Better reforms introduced a choice of payment options for accommodation in aged care facilities.

All residents have the choice to pay for accommodation by a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), or a combination of both. The decision on how to pay must be made within 28 days of entering into the facility.

The legislation requires publication of certain information about maximum prices and the services provided to residents.

From 1 July 2014, there is a tiered pricing structure at St Andrews Village depending on the location of the room you choose. We have 3 room types available:

  • Harrison House North: the general area of our original facility.
  • Harrison House South: our secure area for people living with memory impairment.
  • John Flynn House: our new facility completed only in 2009, which offers larger rooms.

Additional services are offered in 12 rooms of Davidson Suite located in Harrison House. However, no rooms at St Andrews Village are offered on an ‘extra services’ basis.
